So, after some consideration, I have decided to continue the Where’s William blog. Even though I’ve settled in Carmel Valley (and joined Carmel Valley Ranch Golf Club) for the foreseeable future, I have some cool trips coming up. I will be heading to South Carolina next week, to Sacramento the following week for an NBA double header, then to La Quinta the first week of December. On top of these scheduled trips, I am seriously considering a visit to New Zealand OR Australia/ Tasmania in either December, January, or February. Central California is right in the crosshairs of the ocean warming phenomenon called El Niño, which creates the perfect environment to slam the Golden State with winter storms that generally miss us north or south. Do I want to sit inside and watch rain drops? Traveling to sunny places sounds much more appealing AND interesting. I hope you agree and follow along.

My next blogs will be from South Carolina, where I will be visiting an upscale golf and lake development called Olde Eight. I will also be mixing in a round or two in Aiken, which features Golf Digest nationally ranked clubs like Tree Farm, Broomsedge, and Old Barnwell.
